Step 1: Creating A New Survey

To create a new survey, click on the  New Survey button on the top right corner of your account page and choose from one of the given options.

Customer Experience — Customer Experience survey allows you to understand the opinion of your customers. With a wide range of questions and logic, you can create a survey that allows you to get feedback from your customers and their experience. 

 

Market Research — Market Research Survey is perfect for those who wish to test their product or services and would like to have feedback from potential customers. 

Once you have finalized the survey type, the next step is selecting one survey type from below:

Start From Scratch

This allows you to design a survey from a scratch by adding your questions. Once you click on the button, you would need to fill in the Survey Name and you can select the appropriate Survey Type from the wide range of options available. The Survey Type selection allows you to categorize your survey better.  

 

Copy Another Survey

With this option, you have the choice to use the questions from another existing survey in your library. If you wish to choose to create your new survey from another survey in your library, you would need to select the existing survey in the pop-up. Click on the survey check box and select Confirm button. 

Upload Survey File

With this option, you can create a new survey by uploading a survey file which would be converted into a survey on our platform. Click on this option and download the template file and make changes to it. Once ready, upload the template file.

Create From Template

Get the head start by using templates available that have been designed and curated by our team of experts to provide you with the best results. Scroll down to access the different templates of the survey ready for you. For Customer Experience, the available templates are industry-based. For Market Research, you have one template — MR Employee

Step 2: Adding Questions To Your Survey

 

The next step to creating your survey is adding questions to it. If you are creating a new survey, you would get the option to add new questions. Click on the button and you choose the question type and apply the question setting.

If you are importing questions from a file, click on the green +button to add more questions to your survey. 

If you are using the template, you can review and edit the questions using the edit button on the right side of the question. You can change the settings of the question by clicking on the edit button and changing it. You can also delete questions that are not useful to you. 

If you are making a long survey, you can break it into multiple pages by clicking on the red button right next to the Add Question button. Breaking the survey into pages allows you to organize it better, making it easier for users to fill the survey. 

 

You can also add Page Title and Page Description to make individual pages more informative for the users. 

Step 3: Applying Logic

After you have created a survey and added questions, it’s time for you to apply logic to the survey.

These logics help you to design the survey to get more efficient and precise results. 

For example, you can use Carry Forward logic to carry forward the options from a previous question to the next one or skip logic to lead users to specific questions depending on their answer to previous questions. 

 

Step 4: Customize The Design

Once your survey is ready with all the questions and logic, the next step is to make it more pleasant using the wide range of theme options to choose from. Click on the Theme button and you can choose from the pre-existing themes.

Once you have selected the theme, you can either choose the default settings of the selected theme or you can customize your theme.  You can also create more themes by clicking on the New Theme button and customize it. 

 

Step 5: Preview And Share Your Survey

Once you have fine-tuned everything, it’s time to preview the survey and share it. To preview your survey, click on the Preview button on the top right corner of your screen.

Once you are ready to share your survey, use the Collect Response option to share your survey. 

 

Note: The number of questions, pages, and the number of logics available is dependant on your subscription plan.
